Lesson 13

Feeding 5,000; Martha and Mary

Key Passages: Luke 9:10-17 and Luke 10:38-42

Basic Truth: God knows and provides everything we need

Memory Verse: And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.  Luke 12:29-31

Discussion Questions

All Levels
Q: Why do pagans run after things for this life?

A: God generously provides everything we have because of His love and grace

Grade 3-4
Q: Why does God tell us not to worry about this life?
